Tripoli: Amadin a 15 year old unaccompanied minor sleeps in the bed he shares with his brother, several other children, and his adopted mother Mariam...Amadin says that he and his 5 year old brother Sabir were abandoned by their parents, though he thinks they may have been killed in recent fighting in Mogadishu. ..Their neighbour, Mariam Ali-Usman brought Amadin and his brother on a 14 day trek through Ethiopia and Sudan to Libya hoping to be smuggled by boat into Europe...After he arrived in Libya he was at the Somali Embassy in Tripoli when suffered a fit, and was taken to hospital where he was diagnosed with epilepsy...He says he didn't not know he was suffering from epilepsy and didn't to to tell anyone prior to the fit. he says people in Mogadishu told him he was merely sick with flu, but is now receiving medication from representatives of MSF at the camp....UNHCR/J Tanner 2011
