Jason Tanner began his photographic career in 2001 covering news, sport and commercial photography for agencies and publications in the UK. In 2005 he relocated to Bangkok to pursue international news, documentary and feature photography.

In late 2008 he embarked on a long-term project documenting The Price of Instability in Pakistan.

His work has been published in the UK, Europe , USA and Australasia in publications such as The Times (UK), The Telegraph (UK), Sydney Morning Herald (AUS), Courier, TIME Magazine, New York Times, Le Monde and Paris Match.

He has also contributed in campaigns by UNHCR, Save the Children, MSF and the ICRC.
